firstly, happy new year!! gonna recap on the main things that happened in 2013, but please don't expect much because i have really bad memory and i've mostly forgotten 90% of the things. ;^^
finally, 2013 is over!! on the last day of 2012, my gut feeling told me 2013 is gonna be a bad year. indeed, it was. but my gut feeling for 2014 tells me it's gonna be a superb year! so i'm super super looking forward to 2014.
JANUARY 2013
started school as an official "sec 4". i was actually kinda glad that i'm finally a sec 4, because i couldn't wait to graduate from secondary school. so yup i was actually happy about this.
okay actually nothing interesting happened in 2013. just the usual schooling and cca life.
FEBRUARY 2013
a rather disrupting month for me, due to family reasons. but oh well other than that it seems like there's nothing much this month. oh it's the exam periods and.. nothing else.
oh my life sucks. every month is boring.
MARCH 2013
hmm, finally got my contacts that i've been wanting since 2012! and this begins my journey with contacts. it was nice. HAHA. oh oh oh march is the month i filmed with jeanius for a short scene in The Dream Makers!! hehehe my first filming ever and i was so so excited. and after filming we even had lunch with jeanette. it was nice. jeanette smiled at me when i was staring at her from afar and i became awkward and smiled awkwardly. that really sucks though, she must have been thinking i'm weird. HAHA.
APRIL 2013
damn either my memory is failing me badly, or i lead a super boring life that i can't think of anything that happened in april.
finally remembered something! celebrated yunxian's birthday at bbublek! omg i miss bbk so much. their cheese sauce was lovely. it was a really fun night. food was greattttt, and the surprise for yx was awesome! HAHA.
MAY 2013
exam period again! and on 31st may, sent jeanette off at airport! i think i can reveal the details now sooo yup. jeanette's flying to malaysia to film The Journey: A Voyage so jeanius decided to send her off! and got my 2nd individual photo with jeanette here. really felt so lucky.
JUNE 2013
The Dream Makers masquerade party!! this event really brought me so much worries because firstly, it's a formal event and i don't have any formal clothes. and i don't wear dresses, so i was scared i'd look awkward in a dress. was secretly hoping jeanette doesn't go so that i do not need to feel so frustrated. but oh well she went. HAHA. initially when i first heard jeanette was attending, i decided to forgo the event but suddenly i received a text from jeanius president so i changed my mind. again, it's for jeanette. gonna risk looking awkward for jeanette. but the event turned out great so i'm glad i didn't forgo it!

oh and june is a month i'll never, ever forget. i met 6 of akb members: umechan, sakiko, mariyannu, wakanyan, haachan & micha! thanks to jeanette, jeanius got free tix to Asia Style Collection and that was the start of my AKB journey. thanks to that event, i decided to have a crash course on the 6 members that were attending. the ever-reliable stage48 wiki helped, and i also followed @AKB48Global on twitter to have updates. then 22 june came! oh my gosh akb was the first performance and omg omg omg i wanted to scream but no one around me was excited (ugh kpop) so all i did was sit up and lip sync the songs. really embarassing though, akb sang sayokuro & hebirote but i only knew hebirote. such a disappointment. but anyway!! jeanette was the last few and the wait between akb and jeanette was really, really long. it was worth the wait though, jeanette's gorgeous as usual.
the next day, it was The Dream Makers roadshow so we had to queue early. and with Asia Style Collection ending so late at night, i didn't really sleep much. but it's all for jeanette, so it's worth it. this roadshow was badly managed. but it was an enjoyable one thanks to jeanette & the games. super fun seeing jeanette laugh and enjoy herself so much! and not to mention, we gave jeanette a birthday celebration. really nice to see her feeling happy. :) IT WAS FUN.
JULY 2013
since i was still following @AKB48Global on twitter, i chanced upon a photo with MAYUYU♥ in it and i decided to google about her and boom. i became an akb fan, of course with mayuyu as my oshi. because i'm still rather new to this whole akb thing, i was super blur, and knew about their updates super super late. that really sucks. but anyway koisuru fortune cookie was the first song i watched the PV, and omg as time went by i became more obsessed and started watching the PV on my way to school and basically everywhere. HAHA
AUGUST 2013
starting the month with the "akb48 fan" label. it was nice knowing about their updates, and being updated with their dome tour setlist and annoucements this month. although i hardly understood the announcements, such as new stages for every team & the group draft kaigi. but it was still nice. HAHA
started watching AKBingo! this month too, right from episode 1. it's like reliving the time akb got popular, so i guess i can say i 'experienced' events that happened last time. and i got to know the front members since they appeared on the show every week, and my vocab of members increased.
oh and august.. i was rather upset with the way ch8 handled things. i was super irritated with the voting system they implemented for The Dream Makers and even sent an email to ch8, but their reply was really disappointing. starting losing my faith in ch8 from this month.
SEPTEMBER 2013
janken month!! watched the live stream of janken right from the start. i'd have to thank this event. this event was another 'trigger' that caused me to be MORE obsessed with akb. and obsessed i was. even though Os were nearing, i still fangirled over akb everyday. a really bad time to start huh. HAHA.
also watched mayuyu's drama, saba doru and omgomgomg she's so kawaii!! got to know about miorin since she appeared many times as a really minor role. HAHA. fresh lemon ni naritai no~!
OCTOBER 2013
the month of the dreaded Os is here. it was really tough. studying everyday (not something i'd do!!) was madness. i wished for a day where i could just stop studying. but no, time doesn't seem to be on my side. but i was still watching AKBingo!, since it's really, really addictive. but i did study!!
received a birthday celebration together with beeshi from claudia, mx, & yx! first surprise celebration i've ever received. thanks so much ♥
after 29th october, went for a slight change of hairstyle since major papers were over. finally got rid of my frizzy hair!
NOVEMBER 2013
by this time since i have already conquered the major papers, i started slacking and i think i kind of neglected the paper 1s. but oh well too late for regrets.
anyway, once 13th november was over i was super glad!! like finally, the whole torture is over. no more english, no more maths, no more science, no more humans, no more chinese! forever!! so of course, once o's were over, post-o's plans started rolling out!
oh oh oh and celebrated mx's birthday on the 8th! planned a surprise for her and yx successfully brought mx into sentosa without her knowing the reason! while i was at sentosa, i told her i was at hougang 1 and she believed. and she got shocked when she saw me behind her (i went to find yx & mx and walked behind them secretly). but it's a super fun day!!
on 10th, went with mx to 3 Peas in a Pod roadshow where mx got an autographed poster and also spinned in a circle with Calvin! HAHAHA super memorable time indeed. right after the event, we went to catch the movie, which is our first NC16 movie ever!! and just nice, mx turned 16 on that same day.
and on 18th november, finally the once-in-a-lifetime prom came. really had lots of fun there and if i could i'd wanna relive it. ;^^ it was a nice moment indeed. ♥
once prom and fun were over, time to look for a job. this is harder than it seems, sent in like millions of applications but only 1 or 2 companies actually called to arrange for an interview. and most of it failed. then one day my tuition recommended my current company so i went ahead and applied for the job, since i was super desperate for money (ordered things online and my bank account was short of money!!). so yeah that marked my first job ever.
DECEMBER 2013
life in december was just working, working & working. started the working life pretty good actually, made a couple of friends so work was enjoyable. but then this company just had to ruin our perfect lives (i'm guessing the bosses are too jealous of our friendships bcuz they don't have any lol) and separate us and in the end, all of us were working different shifts. so work life became super boring and i bet the number of times i felt like quitting was uncountable. not to mention the um, unhappiness there. /not gonna talk further bcuz i don't wanna risk my blog being discovered lol/
work aside, i applied for akb's 2 shot event. after knowing about the event, something inside me just wanted to apply so that i don't have any regrets. y'know, it's like even if you didn't win the ticket, at least you applied and you had the little chance. and if fate doesn't want you to win, you won't feel so heartbroken. so i went ahead and applied. and since i've never won lucky draws in my entire life, i was so sure i wouldn't win this 2 shot event lottery as well. so i kind of didn't care about how i'm gonna pay for the tickets and stuff.
but on one day. i received an email saying i won. i won 3 mayuyu tickets. MAYUYU. M A Y U Y U. of course i was super happy but bcuz i applied without thinking much about the event (like how i'm gonna find my way there, how i'm gonna make payment, how i'm gonna receive my CDs through tenso, a package forwarding company) so i was super worried as well.
i read stage48 forum and some of them who had experience said like if you didn't pay up or something, you'll be blacklisted from applying for future events. and what i don't wanna that, when i study in japan i'll be applying for events everyday! so i was super worried. then i had no choice but to research more. and now i guess i'm pretty safe bcuz i paid for it successfully, i've used tenso already (for my akb48 shop goods), and i've google street viewed the location. of course i will do more research in the near future. but anyway, now that most of my worries are gone, time to look forward to june!!
oh and spent christmas with yx, bs & mx! went to catch Frozen, went to science centre & snow city! it was a fun-filled day!! ♥ had so much fun in snow city especially, and i overcame my phobia of sliding down the slope in there. (there was once, i went to slide and the staff pushed me down backwards, so i was literally sliding backwards. and it was super traumatising and my butt hurt super badly. lol)
and on countdown, spent the last moments of 2013 and the first few moments of 2014 with my beloved Jeanius. even though we had to queue at like 10am just to catch Jeanette during Red Carpet & her performance, then rush to jurong to catch her 2nd performance (all of us Jeanius literally shot out of marina bay after Jeanette's performance @ marina bay, and ran to city hall mrt amidst the crowd), it was a super fun-filled day because Jeanette ♥♥.
so yup this marks the year 2013 for me! may 2014 be nice too ♥
