I SWEAR IT'S A DREAM COME TRUE FOR ME.
decision was made in nov 2013 since i won the 2shot balloting, which meant a horrendous 8-month wait, but THE TIME HAS COME!!!!
of course, i have to blog about this. made a simpler post on my dayre over here: dayre.me/belletagyy (broken into 3 parts, so please backtrack my posts) but since i'm on desktop now it's easier to blog in more detail, so HERE GOES!!!!
p.s. i'm still having japan withdrawals so i might sound really sad and annoying but it can't be helped when you love a country so much

Japan Trip, 14th June 2014 to 21st June 2014
DAY 1: 14 JUNE 2014
airplane food! okay nothing much actually.

DAY 2: 15 JUNE 2014
okay. so on this day, i was supposed to meet my beloved mayu ;________;
(and of course my other favourites)
BUT IT WAS POSTPONED!!!!!!!!!!
so i went exploring yokohama, since i was already in yokohama for the event.
went into a random mall near pacifico yokohama.. AND I SAW THIS! partially makes up for the postponed 2shots i guess.
i died too much in this arcade game. but since it's akb, i spent money to continue the game..then i gave up after i died a second time. but it seriously hurts to shoot akb members (they were zombies), haha
visited cup noodles museum too! and bought two cute plushes! i bought two because they were just tooooo daaaaamnnnnn adorable ;_;

went to a park and had this view. the park was really nice and cooling, and i didn't wanna leave the bench after sitting down lol.

DAY 3: 16 JUNE 2014
spent the day travelling from yokohama to tokyo and waiting to check in at the tokyo hotel, so not much exploration was done today, sigh
dinner at someplace in ueno! spicy curry, but delicious!!
went into a random tsutaya shop and saw this congratulatory message to mayu, about her #1 win at ssk hehe :-)

DAY 4: 17 JUNE 2014
went to akihabara today!!! and of course, how could i not visit akb cafe & shop?!?! (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))
went to akb theater too to try my luck, but as i expected, only those who won theater shows and cancel machi people could enter the akb theater lobby..oh well.
saw this at akb cafe!! seeing that it's signed off as team a, watanabe mayu, it's not something very recent, but IT'S MAYU!!!!!!!!!!
and got this coaster from the cafe! not exactly my favourite, but better than nothing!!
AND OF COURSE, I HAD MAYU'S MENU: muchichi ice mille crepe!!
DESSERTS ARE ALWAYS GOOD SO THIS IS GOOD AS WELL. AND SINCE IT'S CREATED BY MAYU IT'S EVEN NICER ヽ(；▽；)ノ

DAY 5: 18 JUNE 2014
went to odaiba today!

DAY 6: 19 JUNE 2014
DISNEYLAND DAY!!! my first ever disneyland ＼（Ｔ∇Ｔ）／ i'm so happy i wanna cry. I have never been to disneyland cuz sad deprived kid. and you'll have more fun as a child, right..? if i ever have kids i'll bring them to disneyland at a young reasonable age :')

DISNEY LIGHT SHOW! i was at a terribly bad spot with terrible view (trees and signposts were literally blocking half of the castle), which sucked because like i said, it's my first disneyland trip and thus my first disney light show.. and i don't know when i'll be back to disneyland, damn ((T.T； )
DAY 7: 20 JUNE 2014
last full day in japan..
went to observatory decks at shinjuku! FREE OF CHARGE HEHE
drink from vending machine, well it's my first time having a drink from japan vending machines i guess. HAHA

I FOUND SAIZERIYA!! i know they're from japan but i didn't spot any till today! naturally, i had it.
went to tokyo tower too~ (*^▽^*)

DAY 8: 21 JUNE 2014
MY LAST FEW HOURS IN JAPAN!!!!

and.. this marks the end of my entire japan trip. （；へ：）
y'know, when akb is so non-existent in your country, it becomes set into your mind that akb will be hard to see, so when i saw the first akb-related thing in japan.. i was seriously really happy and appreciative (*´；ェ；`*)
one regret i have is not speaking much japanese throughout my trip, reason being it's my first time speaking japanese to people other than my japanese teacher, so i was probably a little too self-concious about my speaking tone and accents, so it was either i spoke toooooo soft or didn't speak much at all, even though i understood everything.............. ha ha
i did my best to pick up courage though, and telling myself i'll just be a random passing foreigner they'll never see again, so i spoke a little more japanese towards the end of my trip haha. but i'm still not satisfied!! on my next trip, i'll definitely speak a lot more!! my goal!!
speaking about my next trip, i desperately want to visit japan this coming vacation from sept-oct (LONG BREAK (((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o))) ), maybe even for 2 weeks (1 week was too short), but y'know. money issues. japan has a reallyyyyy high standard of living - train fares cost around $1-$4 for a ONE-WAY trip, which meant returning back to hotel amounts to $2-$8. multiply that by multiple trips per day, and for 8 days, and you get a shocking amount that i wouldn't want to know ＼(°o°；）
but seriously, if my parents agree to another japan trip, i'll make good use of it!!!!! and now, since handshake events are resuming, maybe there'll be a handshake event scheduled in sept-oct?? (well, handshake events are basically the spine of akb, and there's plenty of handshake events, there's bound to be one in sept/oct!)
even if my rescheduled 2-shot events aren't in sept/oct, i hope there'll be a handshake event to replace it! i don't mind forgoing the $236 i spent on 2-shot tickets haha. (but seriously though, photos with mayu are gone in that case)
also, if this trip was badly planned its because
a) purpose was for 2-shot events hehe
b) i suck at planning an itinery because i'm not a travel planner nor an experienced traveller lol
but i guess that's all i have to say about my VIRGIN JAPAN TRIP experience??
a really fun-to-be-in country - even my dad agrees, and he prefers the quiet peaceful life not crazy rushed life, which is good! 。(⌒∇⌒。)
