初めてAKBイベントを参加する。

やっとまゆゆに会った！！！！うわぁあああー。

I finally met my kamioshi, Mayu, today!! And my other favourites: Mion, Naachan, Saho, Renacchi & Umechan.

It's currently 3:53am but I'm forcing myself not to sleep, so that I can write out the entire experience while it's still fresh in my head.

Pre-Event:

I WAS SO NERVOUS. LIKE REALLY. Especially for Mayu. After all, Mayu is some I always see on screen, and now I'll be seeing the real person?! And talk to her?! 

Even after meeting Jeanette for COUNTLESS times, after having a photo taken with Jeanette for 6 times, after attending 2 private gatherings, after 3 years of being an active Jeanius member..

And even though Jeanette speaks fluent English and she doesn't speak Chinese in private to us..

I STILL DON'T DARE TO TALK TO JEANETTE!!!!!!

How do I actually get the confidence to meet & chat with someone who..

(i) Is merely someone I see and fangirl about on phone screens

(ii) Speaks a different language, Japanese, a language I'm still learning

(iii) Has such a great idol aura

So Miyupon wasn't attending due to health issues so my first 2shot would be at 3pm. And I reached the venue at 2pm. 😂

Went to the info booth to get my tickets stamped, and after that I found myself in front of Sayanee's lane.

Can u imagine just straight ahead, Sayanee is there?!?!?!

Then I walked around, wanted to find Mayu's lane but she wasn't participating in 4th slot so she doesn't have any lane. So I walked and walked.. until 3pm.

Event:

Okay so basically all I said to the members (except Mayu) was that I'm from SG. Nothing else. Firstly cuz no time and secondly I was too nervous. 😅

5th Slot (1500-1630)
#1 - Naachan

My first ever meeting with an idol.. I was so nervous I kept getting stomachaches prior to the event and my hands kept shaking while doing the peace sign. 😂

NAACHAN!!!! She seriously provides kami-taiou and seriously you will die. I died.

She looked at me in the eyes firmly while talking.. I was so mesmerised. When I told her I was from SG, she was really surprised and thanked me 💖 After the photo was taken, she shook my hands firmly and I ended up being in Naachan's land and forgotten everything around me. I forgot to get off the seat and the staff had to pull me away, sort of. That's how great Naachan is.

I'm so glad I went for Naachan. I think I can declare she is currently my #3 in AKB. She has pushed Yukirin down to 4th. 😅

See you again on the 23rd! So excited to meet Naachan again! 😄

5th Slot (1500-1630)
#2 - Saho

Yay! 😉

Saho was really cute as usual! I calmed down a lot after meeting one member, somehow it felt like I already met these members 100 times. That kind of calmness. HAHA

Like Naachan, she was pretty surprised I came from SG and thanked me! 💖

And she shook my hands afterwards!

5th Slot (1500-1630)
#3 - Mion

Okay I have a long story to tell about Mion. HAHA. Back in Nov 2013 when I applied for 2shot tickets, I didn't apply for Mion cuz I wasn't a fan of her at that time. Then I decided to apply for one unassigned ticket, and planned to use it for Naanya.

And within that period till now..

Mion flew up my ranks and became my #2 in AKB. 😉

But I had no 2shot tickets for her. And I also lost all of my handshake applications for her. I couldn't meet her not even once. I was hoping I could use the unassigned ticket for her, but up till the event day, I was worried that the mgmt wouldn't allow unassigned tickets for Mion, because she's growing rapidly in popularity after all.

Then on the event day, I checked the lane details.

YES!!!! Mion has a star next to her name! SHE ACCEPTS UNASSIGNED TICKETS!

Since I could only enter the lane after 30 mins (a rule for unassigned tickets), by the time I entered, the queue was damn long. (Naachan's and Saho's queue was relatively short) I saw mostly everyone had an unassigned ticket too. I'm not alone HAHA.

While queuing, I noticed only Mion and another member whom I don't know had a long queue at the non-senbatsu area. Which makes Mion and the other member on par with the senbatsu members over at another area. I'm so proud of Mion :')

After queuing for ages, finally it's my turn!!!!!! I expected Mion to give a big reaction when I said I'm from SG, cuz I saw on Twitter she was surprised that someone came from Nagoya.

But I guess the lane was really long and time was running out in that slot, so everything was pretty rushed. When I said I was from SG, she didn't exactly give a big reaction and just thanked me.

We did the pose quickly and everything was over in a second. She shook my hand too. 😊

While leaving, she told me to come back again. Which brought me back to the harsh reality.. I didn't win any tickets for Mion's HS, I won't be able to see my #2 anytime soon again. :(

Sorry Mion for not coming back again :(

6th Slot (1630-1800)
#4 - Mayu

UWAAAAAA

Even though it's 4:58am currently (yes 1h has passed since I started writing this) MY TENSION IS STILL MAX!!!!!!!!

I FEEL LIKE SQUEALING. But it's in the middle of the night.

Can I just spazz about how pretty Mayu looks?!?!?!?!?!! Srsly she's so pretty and cute and all. I have 3 tickets for Mayu, so I wanted to start with something simple first before moving on to the poses I wanna do, so that I won't seem creepy, hence the super simple and common heart pose.

Mayu actually came into her lane 22 minutes late. So the entire lane was delayed. And because of that, the queue was very long and it ended up being very rushed.

When it was my turn, I immediately said 'I'm from SG' (in Japanese of course) like how I did for other members. But because of her looooooong queue, things became super super rushed and Mayu also immediately asked for the pose once it was my turn.

Our two statements clashed, and she didn't hear my statement properly. She was waiting for my reply, and I was waiting for her reaction. It was pretty awkward cuz we were silent for a while. And then she gave a blur face cuz I didn't reply her.

BUT HER BLUR FACE WAS SO CUTE I WILL REMEMBER IT FOREVER.

I quickly said 'heart' and everything passed so fast. I don't even remember if Mayu shook my hands afterwards. My mind was totally blank after meeting Mayu and I can't remember anything..

You were also supposed to confirm whether your photo is taken properly in front of the staff. But I walked off without bothering to check. All because my mind was blank..

Luckily the photo turned out great, if not I wouldn't be able to get a replacement photo cuz I walked away. 😅

Mayu is great. 😍

6th Slot (1630-1800)
#5 - Renacchi

Renacchi! The first member I started translating for. 😜

Renacchi is so pretty omg.

This was a really normal 2shot too, hmm.. She was also shocked I came all the way from SG and thanked me!! And I shook her hands yay 😜

Oh and while queuing for Naachan, I saw ReNattsun walking together!!!!!!

#6 - Mayu

HAHAHAHHAHAHA OMG THIS PHOTO. This photo is srsly my favourite out of everything. I failed so badly in doing the pose though. But still my favourite. LOOK HOW CUTE MAYU IS?!?!?!??!?!?

I CAN'T HELP BUT SMILE WIDELY WHENEVER I LOOK AT THIS PHOTO!!!! 😂😂😂

Okay so there was actually a 30 mins break between the 6th and 7th slot. A small part of me was hoping she would take the 30 mins break to rest well, and come out with more energy. And while I was queuing, I tried to peek and I saw her and she looked livelier!!!

And moments before my turn, I could have a very good view of Mayu. I made eye contact with Mayu..... And my body told me to look away naturally.

This has happened many times between Jeanette and I 😅

Guess it only happens with my #1 loves.

But I have a very strong regret.

Seeing how I have yet to tell Mayu I'm from SG, I wanted to make use of the remaining 2 chances to say so. But.. I kinda gave up on telling her once it was the 7th slot, partially because I'll be meeting her on the 23rd again and could say as much as I want, and partially cuz I thought it'd be as rushed as the 6th slot.

Mayu didn't actually come out very late, maybe around 5 mins late or so. So it wasn't as rushed as the 6th slot. When it was my turn, she was a lot more relaxed and didn't ask for the pose immediately, unlike in the 6th slot.

Stupid me. I could've squeezed in that simple 'I'm from SG' in between. Ugh. I hate myself so much. Yes I can say all I want during the HS on the 23rd, but she'll probably forget me by then. I wanted Mayu to know that this girl in a pink pullover travelled all the way from Singapore to meet her. And that she has one more Singapore fan.

But I didn't say it..

I hate myself.

There was moment of silence where I just smiled and looked into Mayu's eyes cuz she was just so pretty and then she asked me what pose I want. I didn't know exactly how to call it, so I said something like 'かっこいいなポーズ' and did the hand action, hoping she'll understand. Cuz Mayu actually does this pose a lot onscreen. And she understood!

I will never forget her face when she confirmed the pose with me.

And she looked so perfect and cute while I was a huge failure. 😂

And while I was leaving, she waved at me really happily and told me to come back!!!!!! I just smiled and nodded and apparently the staff had to pull me away too HAHAHA.

7th - Umechan

Ahhh. Umechan. Another kami-taiou for sure. 😄

While other members just went えー！ありがとう！when I told them I'm from SG, Umechan actually processed my words and said: すごい！嬉しい！

I have lots of feels telling her I'm from SG. It was all because of her coming to SG back in Jun 2013 that made me Iike her, and also made me an AKB fan. If not for her, I probably wouldn't be who I am today.

And because she processed my words, I choose to believe she actually recalled the time she came to SG. 😌

And while other members asked me what pose I want, Umechan automatically suggested peace sign by saying 何をしようかな？ピース？And I had to follow her wish, of course. 😜

And then!!!!! While I was leaving, she actually STOOD UP and sent me off!!!!!! UWAAAAAA. SERIOUSLY KAMI-TAIOU. And she told me to come back again!

I now regret not applying for her HS on the 23rd. I'll see you again sometime soon. 😊

Seriously, members with kami-taiou are the best. I need to go get some Yukirin tickets one day and let myself get caught in Yukirin World.

8th Slot (2000-2130)

8th - Mayu

My last photo with Mayu, and also the last one for the day. 

Mayu actually came out 22 mins late, exactly the same as the 6th slot haha. And I could tell the process was gonna be very, very rushed. And indeed, it was very rushed. Even more rushed than the 6th slot. 

When it was my turn, the moment I sat down, she immediately asked me for the pose. And there I was hoping I could actually say I'm from SG, and see you again on the 23rd. Fat hope. Haha.

Everything passed very fast too. Mayu waved happily again and told me to come back!! She only told me to come back in the 7th and 8th slot, not the 6th one. 

Can I choose to believe she recognises me, or at least recognises the shirt I'm wearing (cuz it was a pretty obvious colour)? 😜

But it doesn't matter if she forgets me a day later. 😊

Mayu, see you again on the 23rd!!!! I have 5 tickets for you, so let's have a good chat alright? 😄

And that marks the end of the event!

To summarise, I'm really glad I could meet Mion since it was my only chance to. And I'm also spoilt by the kami-taiou Naachan and Umechan gave. And most importantly.. I'M REALLY HAPPY I GOT TO MEET MAYU!

And I'm gonna dedicate a space to Mayu although she will never ever read it but who cares.

Dear Mayu, I really appreciate you giving your all. You had to sit there and pose with fans non-stop from 1000 to 2130. With only two 30 mins break in between, for lunch and dinner I assume. Even a normal person who could actually have a good night sleep would be exhausted, much less a busy top idol like you. Despite that, you tried your best not to let exhaustion affect you, and gave your best and biggest smile to each and every fan. 

I don't expect anything big from you. Being able to meet you makes my life so much brighter. Just knowing you did your best makes my heart warm. 

Thank you for the time spent. I'm really very happy and I'll never forget this experience. 

Please rest well and see you again on the 23rd! 😌

I'm srsly overflowing with emotions now.. I don't know if I wrote down all I wanna say, whether I missed out anything or not. But I guess this is all that's in my mind currently.
