not much sightseeing, basically roaming around a certain area on free days & spending many days dedicated to doing idol stuffs.
i actually spent 2 full days in akihabara. haha
oh and i went using scoot again. i was tired of having to transit at Taiwan but i had no choice because i booked the air tickets very late and i was left with only scoot. and it was still really expensive. it costed $600 for a round trip back in june, inclusive of travel insurance, seat upgrade, PREMIUM MEAL. and now it cost me $1.2k for a round trip, inclusive of travel insurance, but with no seat upgrades or premium meals.. sigh
ok and i don't know how to get started on this but let's go

first day!!
ok i just wanted to take a pic at airport but the departure area was too crowded so i went to this quiet place somewhere in the boarding area HAHAHA.
fast forward to the transit in Taiwan
so as you can see, i was wearing this thin pullover. i kept all the winter clothes in my check-in luggage and only put a thin cardigan into my carry-on bag. there'd be heating in airports anyway, so no use for winter clothes.
WRONG.
when i arrived in Taiwan, it was about 14 degrees. THEY HAD NO HEATING THERE!!!!!! my layover in Taiwan was about 1h so i was basically shivering at the boarding area for an hour. non-stop shivering. ugh. everyone there was wearing winter clothes and there i was in this super thin pullover shivering non-stop hahahahaha
but then i arrived in Japan and there was heating so all's fine. it was 7 degrees in Japan so i'd have died if there was no heating lol.
walked around the airport while waiting for the NEX train to Yokohama. saw wonda morning shot and i just had to get it. didn't see any in june haha.
sadly it's not to my taste. first and last time trying i guess.

and finally decided to get an IC card. pls don't ask me why i didn't back in june.
the view outside my hotel in Yokohama, i guess.. reached there at about 2pm and this was the sky at 4pm+. pretty dark and it was amazing cuz i've only experienced this once in europe back in 2011..
i lost all my applications for kouhaku, so i had no choice but to go get some theater stream tickets. the process of buying the tickets was really awkward though HAHA.
when i went into family mart, i walked around twice and even though the shop was small, for some reason, i couldn't spot the famiport machine AND I DON'T KNOW WHY. I WAS BLIND. so i went to ask the staff where was the machine.. and then she followed me to the machine and it was pretty awkward. because it's my first time using i didn't know what to press, and the staff was standing there waiting for me to do something. then i gave up and handed her my phone showing the ticket details. we then struggled trying to find the option for kouhaku theater stream. i feel so bad because she spent a long time trying to help me :(
and while applying, the machine asked for my telephone number. i knew they only accepted japan phone numbers but i had none so i asked the staff if overseas phone number was acceptable. she didn't understand me.. so i went ahead and keyed in my singapore number even though i knew it'd be rejected. and yep it got rejected.
i was desperate and i couldn't make her wait for ages so i went and used tenso's number. i was afraid the number would be used as confirmation when i tried to enter the theater, so i kept hoping the phone number wouldn't be printed on the ticket. luckily it wasn't HAHA.

the day of 2shot event!!!!!!!

had melonpan for breakfast!!! after i tried it on the last day of my japan trip in june, i just had to get it again. so i did. i bought this the day before and it was the last one on the shelf so i'm happy!!!
delicious as usual hehe
fast forward to after 2shot event ended
i only ate pocky during the 30 mins break between slots 6 & 7, so went to grab dinner at around 10pm.

had it on my last day of japan trip in june as well, and it was so damn good cuz cheese. went to check singapore's stores and there was no hamburger cheese curry :(

a free day today. where did i go..
oh. i went to Avail and walked around the area!!
MANY POSTERS OF MAYU THERE OMG. only took some cuz i had to take pictures secretly when no one was around. (i then found out photographs were prohibited afterwards..)
also saw these mayu tags on the Avail x Mayu items. the shoes were pretty nice so i went to try knowing i couldn't fit into any because of my big wide feet lol.
as expected i couldn't fit into the biggest size, 2L. went to see the size chart and the biggest size was 25.5cm, 4L. my feet is even larger than that.. HAHAHAHAH
i gave up on shoes shopping because Japanese people have small feet so no use trying to find shoes that fit me.
but i had to get some Avail x Mayu items just for the tag, so i got the thinnest pullover i could find and a skirt!! both the pullover and skirt were still quite thick though.
then i went for lunch and finally ate my first ramen!!!!!!!!
haven't been eating it much in singapore because it's so damn expensive and i told myself to bear with it till i'm in japan to eat cheap authentic ramen.

i really went to cook instant noodles HAHAHA.
while walking around, saw joysound and i was contemplating going in..
i went in the end because it's probably my only chance to see all the updated songs in karaoke. i went in alone for 30 mins. it's my first time in karaoke so i didn't know what to expect. turned out 30 mins was way tooooo short. :(
ok so at first i didn't know how to start the thing & adjust volumes HAHAHAH. if someone was looking at cctv they'd see this super blur girl wandering around the room alone trying to find the controls HAHAHAAH OMG. then the song volume was too loud and i was anxiously finding the volume controls HAHAHAH.
only managed to sing Kibouteki Refrain, Loneliness Club, Seifuku no Hane, half of Kokoro no Placard, half of Otona Jellybeans and half of Mittsu Ami no Kimi e. towards the end i kept skipping songs at the halfway point in order to be able to sing more songs.
then i went to Minatomirai and saw illuminations!! prettyyyy
and these were my gets for the day. the two Avail x Mayu pieces, a gudetama file, a pig i won at ufo catcher, 2 photo albums for a friend, and 3 KR CDs for the RH tickets hahahaha

it was raining the entire day and i left hotel pretty late, in the afternoon. went to yokohama to walk before heading for the theater stream!!
ate this curry pasta and IT'S SO DAMN GOOD OMG. seriously.
apparently there was this event going on and you get to do this lucky draw-like thing for every 3000yen you spent. i spent 6000yen total and.. i won 2 packets of tissue paper HAHAHAHA
then it was time for theater stream!!!!! it was still raining and it became so cold that my hands froze. had a hard time finding the place cuz of the rain. but luckily we managed to find it without getting lost.

THE STREAM WAS GREAT OMGGGG. my first time being surrounded by fans and the cheers that i can only hear on videos. it felt so good. hearing these cheers with my own ears and seeing the fans wave their lightsticks with my own eyes.
even though it was just a theater stream, the audience there was rather hyped up!!
AND OMG.
takamina's ai no sonzai & mayu's migikata was PERFECT.
can't wait for the broadcast so that i can watch it again!!!!!
then there was the voting for the red/white teams. i thought the theater voting wasn't serious so i didn't do it seriously.. oh by the way, you voted by clapping your hands and the loudest one wins. apparently the theater i was at clapped louder for red..

travelled to tokyo today.
ate katsudon at a place nearby!! delicious hehe
i didn't really go out because i was so tired from travelling from yokohama to tokyo that i slept my day away.

a day in akihabara!!!
went to akb shop & cafe first. when i reached the cafe, there was this event happening and 3 baito members appeared!!! went to watch and ordered mion's menu! IT WAS DELICIOUS. i love desserts.
also wanted to get mayu's menu (which was ramen) but i was too full after mion's menu so i didn't. but i went back to get it for dinner!
i went to donki after that and walked around. played some arcade games as well hehe.
afterwards, i went to this maid cafe to get something for someone. but due to some stuffs, i ended up getting led into the cafe. so i had no choice but to order the drink set which cost 1000yen.. and paid admission fee of 600yen.. sigh.
but still it's okay! my first experience in a maid cafe ever HAHA. the drink set consisted of a cheki with a maid so i just went and chose the maid that served me.
it was a fun experience but also rather awkward because everyone was there with their friends & i was with my parents omg.
stayed till dinner time just to get mayu's menu - ramen!!!
it was delicious but really filling. i was so full i didn't know what to do HAHA

went to tokyo dome city today!
basically spent the entire day there.
didn't take the roller coaster cuz it looked too dangerous HAHA.
saw viking and i knew i had to take it. my childhood ride and forever my #1 ride!
but then they only sold a day pass & a pass for 5 rides. so i had no choice but to get the 5 rides pass. i ended up taking viking thrice, ferris wheel once and a 4D ride once HAHA.

was tired of looking for food so just grabbed this baked pasta from a supermarket. IT WAS DELICIOUS CUZ CHEESE

and yet another day spent in akihabara HAHAHA
went to PARMS to watch Alice Project! i wanted to make it for their 1030am show, but when i woke up i was too tired and unmotivated to wash up & eat breakfast & all that i gave up and went back to sleep. went for their 3pm free show instead.
a pretty cool experience!!! my first ever idol group performance.
although i had to overcome some tough times like climbing 6 floors to the theater. I WAS ABOUT TO DIE OMG. even after 10 mins i was still panting. c'mon my stamina has always been bad and now i have to endure this :(
and i felt the same tight crappy nauseous feeling in my throat once again. that i always feel after my 2.4km run in secondary school.. ugh it was horrible :(
but anyway!! the performance was great and i found a girl that caught my attention. Asakura Ayaka.
i wanted to get a cheki with her, but i didn't know her name at first so i decided to google. but cheki time ended before i could even find out her name.. so no chekis :(
i'll definitely come back again the next time i'm back in japan!! hopefully i'll be able to see the other groups perform haha.
but for now she's a potential oshi candidate.
afterwards, i went to akb theater! (it was raining heavily though. ugh)
and I COULD ENTER THE THEATER OMG!!!!!!!

so the hotel i'm staying at. IT LOOKS SO PRETTY OMG. looks like it's worth $300/night but in reality it's less than $100/night!!!

TOKYO DISNEYSEA!!!!!!
i actually hesitated going because it's winter and it's outdoors so i was afraid i couldn't stand the cold.. but i still went.
took all the roller coasters (except those with 360degree loops) and almost all other rides! i had to queue 90 minutes for a certain ride though. in the cold.
it was so cold i couldn't take my hands out of my pocket, so i basically stood there dazing at people while queuing, because i couldn't use my phone and i was alone (my parents couldn't take roller coasters). 90 minutes of dazing at people HAHA
lunch! cheeseburger meal HAHA
AND OMG CAN I JUST SCREAM ABOUT THIS MEAL?!?! it basically saved me. i was craving for seriously spicy stuffs so badly. and I FOUND THIS!!! curry served with rice and naan!!!!!!!!! OMGGGG. sadly there's no fish curry but oh well. got the curry sampler which consisted of 3 currys, beef, shrimp & chicken cuz i was so badly in need of spicy stuff that 1 type of curry can't satisfy me. but it turned out that only the chicken curry was spicy though. zzz

and.. that's the end of my japan trip :(
woke up damn early in order to catch the 750am bus that brings us to narita airport. reached airport at 8am+ when my flight was at 11:40am lol
was too tired that i just sat there and used my phone till it's late enough to check in.
and.. that's the end of the trip..

i'm seriously missing Japan so much now. and also Mayu. a lot. :(
although it's not as painful as the first day back in singapore. but it still hurts a lot.
i'm back to supporting Mayu through pictures & videos, far away in Singapore. i miss being able to meet her.. i miss seeing akb stuffs everywhere. i miss all the cute & interesting stuffs i see in japan. i miss the weather there. (SERIOUSLY I MISS THE WEATHER A LOT)
although being back in singapore allows me to have spicy foods which is pretty good i guess. lost count of how much spicy food i ate in just 2 days HAHAHAH.
other than the lack of spicy foods in japan, i miss everything there..
one day, i'll be back. during spring/autumn i hope. because summer & winter were too torturing for me although winter was fun HAHAHA.
