belletagy: The Journey: Tumultuous Times

after 6 months of inactivity.. FINALLY!

an event involving Jeanette! o((*^▽^*))o

also the first event since she cut her hair. i'm still a little sad somewhere in my heart, since all of my favourites have long hair (if you noticed), haha. but oh well, if Jeanette likes it then it's alright, and she looks pretty good in it too, so i'm not all disappointed. i still miss her long hair at times though. but it's alright, really.

ok so. before i start with the happy moments, i'll take some time to rant about some fans' behaviour which annoyed me a lot. yes, in every event there'll be some really annoying and unreasonable fans, but today's event is probably the worst one in terms of fans' behaviour.

PERSON #1
firstly, there was this really weird guy that even the staff were wary of. he came later than Jeanius and Romeo's fanclub, yet he went ahead and sat in the MIDDLE of the FIRST ROW, making him the odd one out among all the Jeaniuses, since Jeanius was at the 1st row. the staff knew it and asked him to move behind to the 3rd row or so (behind Jeanius and Romeo's fanclub), yet he refused to budge. after talking to him for very long, he finally moved to the 2nd row, behind Jeanius, but in front of Romeo's fanclub. AND HE DIDN'T EVEN SPEAK, NOPE, NOT AT ALL. he didn't bother responding and kept a straight face all the time.

ok so like that's not enough, after a while he moved again to the MIDDLE of the FIRST ROW again. no use talking to him, since he didn't bother responding and all. then later, at 12:30pm.. queue for handshake & goodie bag passes started (only first 100 get the passes). this weird guy went, then some Jeanius members moved his bag to the side. later, he came back, retrieved his bag, then went to sit behind us.

fast forward to 2:20pm, 40 minutes before the event starts. when everyone was sitting down and in a rather relaxed mode still, he STOOD UP, and slowly inched forward as if we didn't notice him. even though our bags were infront of him, he still moved bit by bit, and very soon, his feet touched our bags, almost stepping on it. a member stepped out and took action, then he went over to the sides, front row, since no one was there. and, he slowly moved sideways towards the centre. even though WE were beside him, he kept moving sideways as though we were transparent. of course we refused to budge. his bag kept hitting my friend's head, and despite that, he continued trying to move sideways. this continued till 3pm. at 3pm, when the cast came out, we had to stand, obviously. my friend, who was sitting beside him, to prevent him from moving sideways any further, had to stand as well. as she stood, he suddenly kept pushing her until a member came and saved her. she was fierce & i guess he was scared cuz after my friend and her switched places, he stopped trying to move sideways HAHA. ok the end.

PERSON #2
next, some really weird, annoying, unreasonable aunties..

ok so they basically queued from the morning, albeit later than the usual fanclubs, i guess. nothing much before the event, but when the event was starting, people started going to the sides to get a good view, since the sides were unoccupied. and it so happened that these people blocked the aunties' views, and one of the aunties got REALLY REALLY REALLY mad & pissed off and kept scolding people in the typical annoying voice. granted, she wasn't really at fault since she did queue. but the fact that she kept scolding non-stop was what really annoyed me.

AND THAT'S NOT IT.

when the event started, like i stated previously, everyone stood up. everyone, EXCEPT THE AUNTIES. they were still sitting down.

AND.

and the same auntie that scolded people went on to scold the people infront of her, again. and when the emcee came out, some adult brought a number of kids into the event area, and obviously, they are kids (like 7 and below?), so they can't see the stage when all of us are standing up and blocking them. i wouldn't say it's the mum who brought them in, since there was really a number of kids, around the same age.. ok so anyway, well, kids are kids. they just want to get a good view, and well, they are kids so they won't exactly spare a thought (is that the correct phrase?) for others. i don't blame them though, they are kids after all. they just want to get a view of the stage.

so, when the kids walked over to the side (which happened to be in front of the aunties..), the same aunty SCOLDED THEM HARSHLY. like wtf? okay, you are pissed by people blocking you, but must you scold innocent kids who just want to get a glimpse of the stage? the aunty then proceeded to tell them, in a harsh manner, to go away. LIKE WTF?!?!

and that's not enough. DURING THE EVENT, WHEN THE ARTISTES ARE TALKING, suddenly, there were familiar voices shouting near me.. i turned around, and as expected, the SAME AUNTIE was finding trouble with ROMEO'S FAN CLUB MEMBERS, who were there very early as well, earlier than her. it seems like some of romeo's fan club members were at the sides way before the event started, not the front row though, doing some stuffs i don't know what. i'm guessing these members wanted to return back to their spots. and since these members had to walk pass her, i'm guessing she found fault and started scolding them for blocking her as well.

ugh. not to mention it was while the artistes were speaking. show some respect for them alright. i'm sure you were there to see the artistes too (else you wouldn't even be at the venue lol), you should have some basic respect for them. of course, the artistes were alerted and they signalled to the staff. ALL THIS HAPPENED WHILE THEY WERE TALKING. ugh how rude. (on a side note, Jeanette was really really really cute when she noticed what's happening and signalled the staff hahaahhahehhaha)

oh and i forgot to mention, these aunties refused to stand up even when everybody around them was standing up when the artistes arrived. uh, of course you can't see the artistes when you are sitting down...............................

OK SO I ACTUALLY DEDICATED A HUGE PART OF THIS POST TO THEM ugh i'm so annoyed

back to the happier moments. I CAN'T HELP BUT SHRIEK IN HAPPINESS EVERY SINGLE TIME I REMEMBER WHAT HAPPENED HEHEHEHEHHEHEHEHEHEHEHE

sorry for sounding like an annoying over-enthu fangirl i can't help it it has been 6 months since i last saw jeanette

7h of queuing in total! other members actually came earlier than our meeting time.. thanks ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ

i actually tried studying/doing homework while waiting, but as expected, i failed. managed to complete 5 MCQ questions though HAHA

ok so nothing much happened. just the usual waiting.. and waiting.. and waiting............

OMG HANDSHAKE! really, i was really nervous and scared because i've never initiated any physical contact with celebs. the only physical contact i get is when Jeanette puts her hand over my shoulders during photo taking, but that's all. i never actually touched her, to put it in a way.. I WAS SOOOOOO NERVOUS WHILE WAITING OMG.

and of course, when you are a fan of idol groups, especially AKB, (handshake events are very important to idol groups!), you can't help but link this to AKB.. in AKB, you actually talk to a member while handshaking, so i kept thinking about what to say to Jeanette (& the rest of the cast whom i'm not exactly a fan of, which made it harder). BUT I CAN'T THINK OF ANYTHING!!!!!!!!!!! then when the handshake event started, i observed, and realised fans didn't really talk much to the artistes. then i realised, maybe you don't even need to strike up a convo with them unlike how you do with idols, HAHA.

here's my handshake experience..

when they announced the start of handshake session, as usual, fan clubs usually go last and the public go first. then i suddenly realised my hands can't be sweaty! the ironic thing is, before i even realised the fact, my hands weren't even sticky at all. but once i realised it, my hands suddenly became a little sticky and i desperately tried to air my hands before my turn came.. IT WAS REALLY STRESSFUL OK I WAS GONNA SHAKE JEANETTE'S HAND I CAN'T LET HER SHAKE A STICKY HAND.

and IT WAS MY TURN! (and my hands weren't sticky anymore HAHA). went up, jeanette was actually the 5th person in line so i shook hands with the 4 artistes before her, giving them just smiles. THEN JEANETTE!!!! i only said a 'hello' to her and smiled really really really really widely and she did as well. i will never ever forget that big smile she gave me.. ｡^‿^｡ then after her i was really really happy so i went on shaking hands with the artistes after her happily since i was starstruck.

but special mention to all the artistes though, they made the entire handshake experience overwhelming, in a good way, and i can't stop shaking/shivering after i went down the stage.

i actually didn't bother taking pictures, since HD pictures will be uploaded by Jeanius, but i couldn't resist it.. took this when the handshake session commenced, hence the casts were just standing there not doing anything. they were waiting for fans to come up the stage.

oh, i forgot to mention this as well, when the hs session (ok i'm just gonna call handshake 'hs' from now on) commenced, fans took quite a while to go on stage. Jeanette was chatting with the artiste beside her, and she chatted till she didn't realise a fan was already there, waiting to shake her hand.. HAHAHAHH SO CUTE.

cakes that Jeanette specially baked for us! she's really sweet to us.. i'm glad to be a fan of her! always caring for us, looking out for us, taking care of us, supporting us.. i'm really really really glad to be a fan of her.. really. :')
