no matter what happens i'll always support and trust you!! i hope you will be strong through periods like this. and i absolutely believe those mean comments are not from you. first off, you have been in this group for about 7-8 years already, why would you badmouth the new gen members NOW. if her personality was indeed like this, she'd be badmouthing members years ago when she was like 14 or 15, wouldn't she? definitely not when she's 20, an adult.

and like some guys on the tieba threads said, the length of, allegedly, mayu's instagram username differs from the length of the user who posted bad stuffs about sakura/haruppi. which proves one thing: mayu did not type those hurtful comments (yay!)

also, if they wanted to frame mayu, why would they cover up ALL the usernames involved? if they claim they did so in order not to bring in innocent parties, then by all means, simply show mayu's instagram username! show the world it's mayu posting those pics and typing those comments. (wouldn't that be more of a bigger deal?) but nope, they decided to cover up even mayu's username. interesting..

also, while we, fans, do not know the truth behind these friendships between the girls, there are some friendships where it's too realistic to deny. let's say this whole thing is true, and mayu is indeed the one badmouthing other members. following that, let's have a flashback to sousenkyo this year, when mayu won #1. look at the reactions of, for example, takamina and yukirin. they were really happy and touched to see mayu win. you can easily tell those emotions were too real to be faked. and we all know takamina's personality, and i believe her happiness for mayu is real. and my point here is, if mayu's character is really that bad, would takamina/yukirin be that happy for mayu? and i state my point again, takamina's/yukirin's happiness were too realistic. it's a smile where only those who have experienced high and lows together with mayu can make. which proves my point again, mayu's character is definitely not that of a rude, arrogant girl.

back to the pictures posted on her "insta". pictures are definitely harder to fake, but not impossible. as said by the guys on tieba, it could simply be a professional person pretending to be mayu - y'know, through makeup and all. or it could be photoshop, you know. nothing is impossible behind the screens afterall.

in the event that the photos posted were true, so be it. she's 20, an adult under the Japanese law, and of a legal age to drink. so what if she drank a couple of drinks and became drunk? it's not underage drinking, and drinking your worries away is just something humans do. and she's human. sure she may be the perfect traditional idol on screen, but she's still human. she eats she drinks she poops she pees just like all of us lol. and really, the only 'shocking' picture of herself she posted was presumably of her being drunk. and it's only ONE picture. the rest were normal pics, of her being dorky with not interesting captions.

and about her and this figure skater dating despite mayu declaring she'd obey the rules of the love-ban? there's absolutely no pictures of mayu together with that guy she claims she's dating. let's be realistic, if it's mayu's private insta, and if she dared to post photos like these and make hurtful comments, she'd be posting photos of her and her "boyfriend" by now. why not leak those photos too? ha.

lastly.. it's all not even confirmed. only one online site has reported it, and even your usual tabloid news site did not report it, and definitely not the more trustworthy sites like yahoo! japan and oricon.

in the very unlikely event that all of these are true - the pics, the badmouthing comments, well, i just wanted to say this: Mayu did not become my oshimen (or kami-oshi) for no reason. It's because I really support her, even more than any other member. In times like this, she'd need her fans' support. And that's what I'm going to give her. Support. And oshihen? I will never do that. Not because of a stupid dumb incident like this, too.

tl;dr
no matter what mayu goes through, be it good or bad, i'll always be there supporting her. because she's my oshimen. that's what you do for your oshimen.
