i'm actually surprised at how bad my chinese has became ^^;;

when i self-declared that chinese isn't my 2nd language anymore after O's, i never thought it'd turn out so badly just after a year LOL.

and i never thought the day where i could read japanese magazines with ease (like how i read english) would come. and now.. i can't even read chinese magazines. not at all. i was never able to read it with ease even when i was young. and instead of my chinese improving over the years.. it got worse instead HAHA.

take for example jeanette's newest iweekly cover (which was also why i got prompted to blog about chinese)

終xxx? (sorry i don't have chinese installed on my laptop & can only type in eng/jap LOL)

when i first saw them, my mind went shuu-something-something-something. and shuu is one of the readings for that character, 終..

then like after 5 seconds or so, i finally remembered the first 2 words.

after another 5 seconds, i finally remembered the 3rd word.

the last word? no idea ^^;;

speaking about 終, i thought of  終始 (a word i just learnt yesterday HAHA) and i just realised i have no idea how to read 始 in chinese. seriously. i'm racking my brains right now and nope i can't remember anything.

since jeanette is on the cover, i have no choice but to purchase it. won't be reading the interview anytime soon though.. i'd need to use the google translate photo tool to read it HAHAHA. and it's troublesome to do & i'm damn busy rn so prolly after my exams. i guess i'll just admire her pics for now hehehe.

what in the world happened to my chinese? HAHAHAHAH

on the contary..

i can read this mag scan easily AHAHAHAHA. of course i don't know how to read all the words (if i did i wouldn't need to attend jap classes anymore lol), but even if i don't know how to read a character, i can still get the gist of it.

(and i'm gonna follow some of mayu's beauty care routine HAHA. ok she only said 3 and i'm just gonna follow 2. im lazy)

EDIT: THE HECK I JUST NOTICED THE SMALL PRINT ON THE BOTTOM LEFT AND WHAT?!?!

Mayu's dress costs 150,000yen (S$1727) and her headband costs 18,000yen (S$207)?!?! WTF
